The Two Tone Hammered

Six years ago I ordered a hammered white gold wedding band for my husband. He loves it. We didn’t have matching bands because we decided to stay within our own unique styles. However, I decided that I wanted a wedding band that matched his somehow. While I liked the hammered rose gold band it wasn’t quite right, so I waited. Then the two-tone hammered band came out and it was perfect. My rings are mixed metals. And I love that I can wear the band with my engagement ring or other bands or just the band. It matches my husband’s band but is still uniquely me! The quality and weight are very impressive. I couldn’t be happier with my second purchase from Holden!

As a queer couple, going to more “mainstream” jewelry places sometimes felt uncomfortable and often impersonal. Couldn’t be any different with our experience with Holden. From our virtual appointment to the final rings, we felt welcomed and able to really ask for what we wanted. In fact, we had to send back the rings a few times for adjustments — once for sizing and once for a design issue. While the exchanges took about a month in total, the rings turned out exactly what we wanted. No surprises or unexpected costs (only extra cost was when we had to resize one of the rings to a thicker band).

Finally, we highly recommend doing the virtual (or in person, if you’re in LA or NY) consultation. During that consult, we were able to get platinum for the inside part, which is not a stock option on the website.

As I was approaching day 7 of searching for a wedding ring that deeply spoke to me, one that had all the vibes, that ate- no crumbs, when all of a sudden I discovered Holden and their two tone hammered ring. This was the one, I immediately knew. My fiance and I made an appointment and were able to try on a few other rings from their collection but once I tried on the two tone hammered ring, it was on site. The customer service was beyond amazing, they walked me through the entire process, answered all my questions, and kept my up-to-date during the manufacturing and shipping processes.
