To celebrate Pride Month this year, we’re shining a spotlight on five LGBTQ-owned wedding vendors who are making their mark in the industry.
1. SAMKOMA is an international creativity concierge committed to intentionality, inclusivity, and authenticity. Founded by Josiah Carr (he/him) & Justin McGregor (he/him), they are currently based in Nashville, TN but plan intentional celebrations across the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
2. Moon Jar Design is a queer and AAPI-owned floral studio creating artful and organic expressions of the natural world and our place within it. Based in Los Angeles, CA but available for travel, they offer florals for gatherings, celebrations, and creative collaborations of all kinds.
3. Tara Beth Photography is a queer wedding photographer based in Philadelphia, PA. As a photographer, Tara’s (she/her) goal is to celebrate love in all its forms and create images that feel authentic and timeless. Tara specializes in wedding and engagement photography with a focus on LGBTQ+ couples, and her work has been featured in The New York Times, New York Magazine, and BRIDES.
4. Events by GS was founded by Luciana (she/her), who was born in Urugay, and Masumi (she/her), who hails from Japan. Being a queer couple themselves, they are very passionate about diversity and inclusion, only collaborating with vendors who align with their fundamental beliefs.
5. Allie Dearie Photography is a queer wedding and elopement photographer based in Southern CA. Allie (she/her) serves clients in Ventura, Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, and beyond. She is also officially ordained, so she can photograph your vows and make it official!
